A Three-part Workshop Series — The Essential Parent Guide to Supporting Children with ADHD
NUS Kent Vale Community Hall | 1 November — 6 December 2025
We warmly invite parents and caregivers to a three-part workshop series, offered in English and Chinese, taking place over three consecutive Saturday.
Each session focuses on a key theme and builds upon the previous one, blending evidence-based insights, live practices, and reflective exercises. While the workshops can be booked as single sessions, we strongly recommend attending the full series, as the topics are deeply interconnected and designed to provide a complete and transformative learning journey.
- Part 1: Communication & Relationship Building – Learn how ADHD shapes family interactions and strengthen trust, empathy, and consistency.
- Part 2: Emotional Resilience & Family Well-being – Support children in managing emotions, feelings, and impulsive behaviours with practical strategies.
- Part 3: Executive Function & Daily Routines – Create supportive structures that enhance focus, organisation, and independence in daily life.

TESTIMONIALS

“We’ve had the privilege of having Teacher Xiao Lei guide our children through mindfulness, and it has truly been a meaningful journey for our family. What sets her apart is her genuine passion and commitment to helping each child grow. She takes the time to understand the unique personality and needs of every child, and thoughtfully adapts her approach so that each child benefits in their own way.
What we especially appreciate is that she doesn’t just focus on the children—she actively engages with parents too. Xiao Lei equips us with practical tools and strategies, empowering us to support our children beyond the sessions. It’s not just about giving the fish, but teaching us how to fish—so that together, parents and children can build the foundations for important lifelong skills.
Most importantly, the kids really enjoy her sessions. She makes them fun, engaging, and age-appropriate, which keeps them excited to come back every week. We’re very grateful to have found such a dedicated teacher, and we highly recommend her classes to any parent looking to support their child’s emotional and mental well-being in a thoughtful, impactful way..”

“We are deeply grateful for the compassionate guidance provided by Xiaolei. From the very beginning, she approached our concerns with empathy, patience, and a deep understanding of the challenges faced by us.
Through a series of 5 insightful sessions, Xiaolei helped us better understand the underlying causes of our child’s behaviour at school and equipped us with practical strategies that truly made a difference. We learnt many strategies, such as creating routines, meditative techniques, for both parents and child, and we learnt to look at our child and his behaviour differently. “Kids do well if they can!” This phrase came up repeatedly during our sessions.
Thanks to Xiaolei’s dedication and professionalism, we’ve seen real progress and feel empowered as parents to support our child more confidently. We couldn’t have asked for a better partner on this journey.”
