Academic Development
As a specialist in inclusive learning and individualised support, I focus on primary school children, recognising that these early years are crucial for building a strong foundation for lifelong learning. My approach is designed to reduce school anxiety, build confidence, and spark a genuine love for learning through real-life examples and interactive, hands-on activities.
For children with dyscalculia or math-related challenges, I develop individualised teaching plans for each child and provide targeted support to develop number sense, improve problem-solving skills, and boost confidence in handling everyday math tasks. By incorporating multi-sensory techniques, games, and real-world applications, I create a learning environment where every child feels encouraged, confident, and excited to explore and grow.
Key benefits:
- Support diverse learners with customised strategies
- Reduce maths anxiety and builds confidence
- Strengthen foundational academical skills
- Boost problem-solving and logical thinking
- Enhance real-world application of mathematical concepts
Emotional Resilience & Stress Management
I support children in developing essential emotional regulation skills, stress management strategies, and positive behaviour habits through a holistic coaching approach. Using evidence-based mindfulness techniques — including yoga, breathing exercises, guided mindfulness, creative expression, and movement — I help children understand their emotions, manage stress, and build resilience.
Beyond emotional regulation, my coaching also targets stress triggers, academic overload, motivation struggles, and attention challenges, equipping children with practical tools to stay calm and focused in high-pressure situations.
Through a mix of indoor and outdoor activities, I create a safe and nurturing space where children can explore their feelings, develop self-mastery, and gain the confidence to thrive. By engaging in structured and exploratory exercises, they learn to navigate daily challenges with greater ease, balance, and joy.
Key benefits:
- Enhance self-awareness and emotional control
- Reduce anxiety, frustration, and meltdowns
- Build confidence and social skills
- Support neurodivergent children (e.g., ADHD, autism) with tailored strategies
- Equip children with lifelong coping skills for learning and daily life
