My journey – as a woman with a blend of Asian and Western education, as a corporate executive, as a leadership coach, as a specialist in neurodivergent learning, as a mindfulness practitioner, as a sustainability advocate, and as a mother – has provided me with profound insights and deep fulfilment in embracing a life of compassion and purpose.

Professional Experience & People Development

I was born and raised in China and later moved to Germany to pursue a master’s degree in Finance and Risk Management at a renowned university. Since then, I have lived and worked in multiple countries, building a career in business development and strategic transformation.

I have conducted workshops and training sessions for business leaders on strategic communication, performance management, and people development across Europe and the Asia-Pacific. With over 20 years in the corporate world, I have cultivated extensive expertise in mindful, results-driven behavioural coaching for both personal and team development. Known for my genuine empathy and inspirational approach, I empower individuals and teams to achieve meaningful personal and professional growth.

Sustainability, Yoga & Mindful Living

Inspired by my children, I founded an NGO to support schools in developing sustainability strategies that integrate purposeful learning, empowering them to attain Eco-Schools Certification.

In our technology-driven and fast-moving society, I have witnessed how individuals struggle emotionally, academically, and socially for being different – and how their families face challenges with unmet expectations. My dedication to personal well-being and the high-quality education of future generations propelled me to leave my corporate career and pursue my dream of helping diverse learners and their families grow and thrive.

As an educator for special needs, and as a yoga and mindfulness practitioner with over 30 years of experience, I work closely with NGOs and educational institutions to mentor and empower diverse learners. I have developed a unique teaching and coaching approach, embedding various research- and evidence-based methods to help diverse learners and their families navigate challenges effectively, build resilience, and create a supportive environment for personal growth.

Talents and Skills

I believe in limitless possibilities for positive transformation. My strong analytical and organisational skills enable me to work effectively with diverse audiences. I have a keen ability to view situations from multiple perspectives and intuitively understand the needs of individuals, groups, and organisations – bringing them together to collaboratively shape a future that benefits the entire system.

My appreciation for cultural diversity and adaptability in different settings add value to my clients. I balance objectivity with sensitivity, recognising and addressing people’s cognitive, emotional, physical, and behavioural needs.

Outlook and Aspiration

My life has been a blend of professional achievements, personal growth, and continuous learning. With rich experience as an entrepreneur, educator, and activist, I coach in English, German, and Chinese, offering both online and in-person sessions – whether one-on-one or in group workshops.

I am committed to helping others unlock their true potential, cultivate inner wealth, and live authentically with happiness and compassion.

I look forward to being one of the colours in your colourful journey.

Testimonials

„We’ve had the privilege of having Teacher Xiao Lei guide our children through mindfulness, and it has truly been a meaningful journey for our family. What sets her apart is her genuine passion and commitment to helping each child grow. She takes the time to understand the unique personality and needs of every child, and thoughtfully adapts her approach so that each child benefits in their own way.

What we especially appreciate is that she doesn’t just focus on the children—she actively engages with parents too. Xiao Lei equips us with practical tools and strategies, empowering us to support our children beyond the sessions. It’s not just about giving the fish, but teaching us how to fish—so that together, parents and children can build the foundations for important lifelong skills.

Most importantly, the kids really enjoy her sessions. She makes them fun, engaging, and age-appropriate, which keeps them excited to come back every week. We’re very grateful to have found such a dedicated teacher, and we highly recommend her classes to any parent looking to support their child’s emotional and mental well-being in a thoughtful, impactful way..“

„We are deeply grateful for the compassionate guidance provided by Xiaolei. From the very beginning, she approached our concerns with empathy, patience, and a deep understanding of the challenges faced by us.

Through a series of 5 insightful sessions, Xiaolei helped us better understand the underlying causes of our child’s behaviour at school and equipped us with practical strategies that truly made a difference. We learnt many strategies, such as creating routines, meditative techniques, for both parents and child, and we learnt to look at our child and his behaviour differently. “Kids do well if they can!” This phrase came up repeatedly during our sessions.

Thanks to Xiaolei’s dedication and professionalism, we’ve seen real progress and feel empowered as parents to support our child more confidently. We couldn’t have asked for a better partner on this journey.“
